Tonsillitis
Tonsillitis is inflammation or infection of the tonsils and may cause throat pain, difficulty swallowing, fever, swollen tonsils, and sometimes recurrent episodes.
Pharyngitis
Pharyngitis refers to inflammation of the throat and commonly causes soreness, irritation, pain while swallowing, and discomfort. It may occur due to infections or other causes of throat irritation.
Oral Ulcers
Oral ulcers are painful sores that can develop inside the mouth or on the tongue. Recurrent, persistent, or unusual ulcers should be evaluated to determine their cause.
Voice Changes & Vocal Polyps/Cysts
Persistent hoarseness or changes in voice may be associated with vocal cord irritation, overuse, inflammation, or lesions such as vocal polyps and cysts. ENT evaluation helps assess the vocal cords and identify the cause of voice changes.
Obstructive Sleep Apnea
Obstructive sleep apnea is a sleep-related breathing disorder in which the upper airway repeatedly becomes narrowed or blocked during sleep. It may be associated with loud snoring, disturbed sleep, daytime tiredness, and other symptoms.
Leukoplakia
Leukoplakia appears as a persistent white patch or plaque in the mouth or throat. Such changes require proper examination because some lesions may carry a risk of developing into more serious conditions.
Submucous Fibrosis
Oral submucous fibrosis is a chronic condition affecting the tissues inside the mouth and can lead to stiffness, restricted mouth opening, and difficulty eating or speaking. Appropriate evaluation is important for monitoring and management.
Lichen Planus
Oral lichen planus is an inflammatory condition that can affect the lining of the mouth and may appear as white patches, lines, redness, soreness, or irritation.
Oral Candidiasis
Oral candidiasis is a fungal infection of the mouth that may cause white patches, soreness, burning, or changes in taste. Evaluation helps identify contributing factors and guide treatment.
Loss of Taste
Changes or loss of taste can occur alongside oral conditions, infections, nasal problems, medication effects, or other underlying causes. A detailed ENT assessment can help identify the possible source.
Oral & Throat Cancer Screening
Oral and throat cancer screening involves examination of the mouth, throat, and related areas for suspicious or persistent changes. Screening and timely evaluation of symptoms such as persistent ulcers, white or red patches, unexplained lumps, swallowing difficulty, or prolonged voice changes can support early detection.
