Our ENT Centre provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a wide range of nose and sinus conditions affecting breathing, smell, nasal comfort, and overall respiratory health. Common problems such as nasal blockage, allergy, sinus infections, nosebleeds, and reduced sense of smell may have different underlying causes and require proper ENT assessment.
Our nose care services include the management of Allergic Rhinitis, Deviated Nasal Septum (DNS), Nasal Polyps, Sinusitis, Nasal Bleed (Epistaxis), Adenoid Problems, Post-Nasal Drip, Reduced or Loss of Smell, CSF Rhinorrhea, and Fungal Sinusitis.
Allergic Rhinitis
Allergic rhinitis can cause sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, itching, and watery eyes. Identifying and managing the underlying allergy can help improve nasal breathing and reduce recurring symptoms.
Deviated Nasal Septum (DNS)
A deviated nasal septum occurs when the partition between the two nasal passages is displaced or crooked. It may contribute to persistent nasal blockage, difficulty breathing, recurrent sinus problems, or mouth breathing.
Nasal Polyps
Nasal polyps are soft, non-cancerous growths that develop within the nose or sinuses. They may cause nasal blockage, post-nasal drip, reduced smell, and difficulty breathing through the nose.
Sinusitis
Sinusitis involves inflammation of the sinus lining and may cause facial pressure, nasal blockage, thick nasal discharge, headache, and reduced sense of smell. It can be acute or become a recurring or chronic problem.
Nasal Bleed (Epistaxis)
Nosebleeds can occur due to dryness, irritation, injury, allergies, infections, or other nasal conditions. Frequent or heavy nosebleeds require proper evaluation to identify the source.
Adenoid Problems
Enlarged or chronically inflamed adenoids can interfere with nasal breathing and may contribute to mouth breathing, snoring, recurrent infections, and sleep-related breathing difficulties, particularly in children.
Post-Nasal Drip
Post-nasal drip occurs when mucus from the nose or sinuses drains toward the back of the throat. It may be associated with allergies, sinus problems, or other nasal conditions and can cause throat irritation, coughing, or frequent throat clearing.
Reduced or Loss of Smell
A reduced or absent sense of smell can occur with nasal blockage, allergies, sinusitis, nasal polyps, infections, or other conditions. ENT evaluation can help determine the underlying cause.
CSF Rhinorrhea
CSF rhinorrhea refers to leakage of cerebrospinal fluid through the nose. Although uncommon, persistent clear nasal drainage, particularly after head injury or nasal surgery, requires prompt specialist assessment.
Fungal Sinusitis
Fungal sinusitis involves fungal infection or fungal-related disease affecting the sinuses. It can occur in different forms and may require detailed ENT evaluation and appropriate medical or surgical management.
